Aquafollie has launched an important renovation project. For the 2023 season, the Caorle water park has invested approximately 1 million euros<\/strong>, one-third of which will be used for the renovation of the pipes and the reconstruction of the water filtration system. The remaining portion will be dedicated to the restyling of a historic attraction and the creation of a new Disney-like scenery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For the upcoming summer, Aquafollie<\/strong> is committed to improving its technological aspects<\/strong>, reducing its environmental impact<\/strong>, and offering a renewed experience to its guests.<\/p>\n

The extensive renovation project involves around ten Italian and local companies<\/strong>, in addition to the park\u2019s own team. The works are aimed at saving and safeguarding the increasingly precious resource of water, with efforts to eliminate leaks, waste, and inefficiencies through infrastructural changes and tailored scenic solutions.<\/p>\n

In particular, all old pipes connecting the pools to the filtration systems, both in Fisherman\u2019s Bay<\/strong> and in the slide arrival basins, have been replaced. This involves about one kilometer of piping<\/strong>. The method of introducing chlorinated water into the pools has been modified, and the recirculation system has been made more efficient, always in compliance with current regulations. Furthermore, scenic containment barriers<\/strong> have been built, and additional structural interventions have been carried out to prevent water waste from the slides\u2019 user entry into the pools.<\/p>\n

This important intervention is part of a virtuous path<\/strong> started in 2018, which will continue to develop in the future, with the aim of increasing attention to the water resource<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

These efforts will result in a water savings<\/strong> of approximately 150\u2013180 cubic meters per day<\/strong>, totaling between 15,000 and 18,000 cubic meters<\/strong> in a season. As a result, there will be a reduction in the use of chemicals and electricity, contributing to the protection of the environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The ambitious project also includes the installation of innovative scenery<\/strong>, to be made with 85 tons of concrete<\/strong> over a 1600 square meter area<\/strong>, which will be hand-carved by the artisans of Ozlab Funfactory<\/strong>. The final result will be a fortress<\/strong> with a castle at the top, from which four attractions will start.<\/p>\n

The historic Pista Blanda slides<\/strong> will be placed in a new setting that evokes the 1960s<\/strong> and the legendary Herbie the Love Bug<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The works are expected to be completed by May<\/strong>, in time for the final preparations ahead of the park\u2019s opening on June 1st<\/strong>. In the meantime, the park will open its online ticketing<\/strong> in April to offer the season pass<\/strong>, which allows many young people to spend the summer in a fun and safe environment<\/strong> and will provide them with an even more engaging experience this year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
